Dr. Bertagnoli is indeed in a different league. He restores lives! He performs surgical miracles! Not quite 1 1/2 years ago, I had a 4-level ADR along with titanium screws and the motion couplers inserted into my lower lumbar spine. Within 6-months, I was hiking in the Italian Alps. A few months later, I resumed playing tennis. I was 65 years of age at the time of my two surgeries. I would not say I’m 35 years old again, but, I’m able to enjoy my daily living activities with almost no pain, some tenderness at times, no need for any medication and every day is a magical blessing for me.
Almost everyone of the Bertagnoli post-surgical patients I spoke to prior to my surgery, said, “it’s the best thing I’ve ever done”. I couldn’t agree more. Dr. B will give you the best possible chance at resuming as normal a life as possible given your need for extremely complicated surgery. Are you having the cervical and lumbar surgeries on one trip? Your surgery sounds extremely extensive, but, there is probably no one in the world more qualified to perform it than Dr. Bertagnoli.
