Other Motion Preservation Technology

Prof. Dr. Bertagnoli is a leading developer and implementer of other motion preservation technology. He has worked closely with Paradigm labs to develop the Dynamic Stabilization System, which has significantly added to the adaptability of Dorsal Pedicle Screw systems and their ability to provide motion to the spine. This system can be combined with artificial disc replacement to provide 360 motion preservation. This is an important concept for those who have degenerative scoliosis, which is a condition that causes rotation and curvature of the spine in adults due to compromises of the intervertabral discs.

Furthermore, posterior interlaminar approaches, such as the recently FDA-approved Coflex Implant are available with Prof. Dr. Bertagnoli for patients with the appropriate case.
