Dear All,
No words can express my appreciation to all the exclusive efforts that you have done to me.
This is a letter a gratitude, respect, and love to every single member of Professor Bertagnoli's team; starting from:
• Prof. Bertagnoli himself, you are a true meaning of professionalism, that I'm looking up to you as a role model to have at least half the potential and motivation as the ones you have. As we talked before, the true success behind building a successful institute is through building a successful system. And a successful system cannot be achieved except through a strong and bonded team, because if the team only depends on a "One Man Show," then for any reason this man is not in the picture any more, the entire institute will fall apart. But if the institute depends on a strong team, then whatever the circumstances, the institute will remain sound and strong carrying the message to further generations.
• Dr. Nickl, you are a treasure that Prof. Bertagnoli has, and it is always the most difficult job to be that part of the team who is always confronting the patient with all the aftermaths of the procedures.
• Ms. Kiefl, although your job is strictly confined to the accountings and calculations, but this did not stop you from being supportive at times all what I really needed was psychological support.
• Ms. Nadia, you were always the person I needed at the right time. Your soothing and passionate smile were there when I needed them. Your gentle and tender pat that you always gave me on my back always made my pain go away.
• Ms. Renate, if it wasn't for your patience and understanding of my needs, nothing would have went through as it should be. You worked hard for my comfort and for organizing everything starting from my arrival to the airport, till my departure.
• Mr. Tim, you are what that started everything. I will never forget your compliance and efforts to transfer all the data needed starting from my first contact with your institute till the diagnosis and surgical treatment plan that was sent to me... you are the ignition that started everything.
• Mr. Peter Hoch, I never met such a committed person to his job as you are. You are very professional and such a reliable person anyone could rely on after a long and exhausting day. I know we are certainly the most exhausting and over-packing family you ever had to deal with. No luggage was heavier than ours, but in despite that you never displayed to us that you are annoyed, on the contrary you always rushed to carry out luggage for us.
• Last and definitely not least, Bogen Hospital, the entire staff. Starting from the nursing staff, to the GA staff, the ICU, to the Physiotherapy department.

I would also like to add...
After my return back to egypt by a week or so after my surgery, i found an email sent to me from Ms. Kiefl telling me that after she has done the final calculations for my account, she discovered that they owe me some money, and that she needed my bank account details to make a transaction of over than two thousand and seven hundred Euros!!! I could not believe that there are still people working with ethics and courtesy in such a materialistic world.
Thank you for such an honesty. You still give me hope that we live in a world with people that still do believe in principles and ethics.

How and why to make the decision to choose that Professor Bertagnoli is the correct surgeon to count on to do the surgery for you. Especially that the German market for spinal and orthopedic surgical, and non-surgical, institutes is over-flooding by frauds that totally depend on their marketing capabilities depending on the amount of money they spend to make their online presence and campaigns look fancier and eye catchy to to the regular person who has no experience nor guidelines to follow when surfing or doing "online shopping" for an institute, or a surgeon, to solve his/her problem of chronic pain that limited his\her lifestyle to a degree that makes him/her so desperate to put his/her life between the hands of a complete stranger, in a strange country away from his family and friends, and under the laws and regulations of a completely different law system that literally deprives the chance of his legal right to persecute the surgeon/institute for any misconduct and/or medical negligence. In other words, the patient is desperate down to his knees. My experience with a fraud website for one of the most famous spine surgeons that was brought up to me by google search engine. I was fascinated by the website and his meticulous online evaluation questionnaire, which I later discovered that he had copied it and pasted it from Professor Bertagnoli's website. It was easy to discover as the dates and years of experience that were published by the website were far away from each other when I compared the date of publication. I even had a date set for consultation with that fraud through his agent (and former patient) from the USA. They were looked so professional that she use to call me overseas phone calls from the USA to Egypt to reassure me that I have made the right choice, and I had to cancel my trip only two days before my appointment when I coincidentally found a blog that was dedicated to warn people from this surgeon. Then one blog lead to another... The amounts of mishaps and complications that this doctor has caused to so many patients were unbelievable. And it was through one of these blogs that I came through the name of Professor Bertagnoli several of times because he was the only surgeon that managed to deal with such complications and bring back the lived if the people they lost after being seen by so many other surgeons telling them that the complications done by that surgeon is far beyond repair and that the damage is permanent. Only then I began doing more search about Professor Bertagnoli in both scholarship articles and blogs. And as a physician myself, a dentist, who believes in evidence-based science, I was shocked by the amount of scientific papers and research work that this man has done. I asked about his name here in Egypt amongst my spinal physician and others in the same field, and they all knew him very well and strongly recommended that if I was to choose someone to do the ADR procedure for me, it will be definitely him. The only solution to my condition was either to a 4-5 level vertebral fixation (which is easily done here in Egypt by surgeon), or, do a multilevel four ADR procedure (which is a very challenging procedure that only very few are capable of doing it.) I chose to go for the ADR because all the physicians told me that I will have to do a career shift and stop practicing dentistry if I chose to do the fixation, and I am not ready to loose the passion and love of my life, dentistry.
